Evolving Education Live Book Club Sessions

Book Club

Access the recordings from Learner-Centered Collaborative’s Evolving Education book club with author Katie Martin. These can be used for learning on your own, at your own time, and at your own pace. They can also be leveraged to run a book club with your own learning community using clips from the recordings and breakout session prompts to guide your small group discussions based on participant interests and goals.

Each session is aligned to a section  of Evolving Education:

Session 1: Part 1, What Are Our Aspirations for Learners? With special guest Emily Liebtag, author and Senior Partner for Systems Transformation at Education Reimagined

Session 2: Part 2, How Might We Create the Most Impactful Learning Experiences? With special guest Katie Novak, internationally recognized author of nine books who is known for her evidence-based professional development on multi-tiered systems of support, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and effective leadership practices

Session 3: Part 3, Might We Create the Enabling Conditions to Shift to a Learner-Centered Paradigm? With special guest Kaleb Rashad, Interim CEO of High Tech High who sees education as the practice of freedom and works to create loving and just schools in which students learn to read their world, resist all forms of oppression and reclaim their ancestral birthrights
